EIC Tech2Market Programme
About
EIC Tech2Market (T2M) aims to help researchers and innovators from projects funded under EIC Pathfinder and Transition funding schemes in their transition from lab to market and to provide tailored support for the market deployment of research results. It includes services with two complementary approaches: Entrepreneurship and Venture Building.
It provides:
- Entrepreneurship programme: a continuous and complete offer to help throughout the journey leading towards the maturation of their entrepreneurial project. It is conceived in a modular way, going from the fundamentals of deep-tech entrepreneurship, illustrated through the personal story of successful founders, to market and investor readiness where the solutions and business ideas are challenged by experienced mentors, investors and market representatives. All the activities of the Entrepreneurship Programme are centralized on the EIC Tech 2 Market Virtual Training Space. After you apply and you are selected, you will get access to the training space, where can find in one place the key information of your programmes, register for events, browse key resources, access the T2M community beneficiaries and experts, take an online training course, organize your coaching sessions with T2M entrepreneurship experts and mentors, and submit the deliverables defined in your collaborative project space to reach your entrepreneurial objectives.
- Venture Building programme: services to help teams to exploit promising research results thanks to a range of activities from identification of promising business ideas to venture creation and development: individualised recruitment services, access to Entrepreneurs in Residence, advisory services in domains such as IP, finance, HR.
Eligibility
The EIC Tech2Market services open to beneficiaries from EIC Pathfinder and EIC Transition.
The beneficiaries can apply through several Open Calls that will be disseminated across the EIC website and EIC Community.
Timeline
The EIC T2M Entrepreneurship Programme offers customised training for deep-tech researchers. It is a pragmatic, hands-on and interactive programme with an on-going format through cohorts of beneficiaries every six months along a two-year period. Collective sessions, one-to-one discussions and some homework is envisaged. Peer review and feedback is provided through working groups, sessions with mentors and coaches, interviews with stakeholders.
The EIC T2M Venture Building Programme will onboard EIC beneficiaries and take them into a journey that will comprise 4 main phases: Exploration & Validation; Feasibility assessment; Team creation; and Venture support services. During the 10-month programme, external stakeholders (such as investors, corporates, entrepreneurs, business analysts, market experts, and others) will also join the activities to assess the potential of your solution, act as mentors and experts, and will even have the opportunity of joining the ventures’ teams for coverage of knowledge gaps.
