EIC Community Event Seeking Investors goes virtual

We are all now spending more time online with tools that make remote work possible. Physical events are shifting to virtual events and the European Innovation Council is also adapting to more online formats. Tomorrow on 7 April 2020, from 14h00 to 17h30, an exclusive group of EIC-funded beneficiaries will gather in an online training event with a business coach to explore the full process of fundraising, present their case studies and get immediate peer to peer feedback. Discover below some of the companies who will attend the event. 

 

 

This online training will dive into the company's roadmap, competitive advantages, and points of differentiation, which should help investors draw more comfort around the company's long-term financial model and guidance. Curious to find out how our companies are planning to maximise their fundraising? Here are the profiles of some participants. 

 

Ambeent is a Turkish company offering a ground-breaking artificial intelligence (AI) based application to organise and optimise the World‘s Wi-Fi. The company commercialises a user-centric, cloud-based, unlicensed spectrum management system, built on a proprietary optimization and AI algorithms. 

 

Business Distribution Blockchain provides solutions for the next generation of the air travel and tourism distribution. The Spanish company is able to help customers to improve their efficiency, avoiding costly intermediaries. 

 

Freshseal Ltd. is a UK based food and catering equipment company that aims to scale up and bring to market a low cost, low temperature (mild), fast and energy efficient microwave vacuum drying and cooking system that will be commercialised in the global food processing and catering industries. 

 

LenioBio is a German biotech company that develops and markets a novel, unique and proprietary protein production platform. ALiCE® enables protein-based therapeutics to become more accessible and affordable, specifically targeting the substantial but underserved class of ‘difficult-to-express (DTE) proteins. 

 

ManoMotion is a leading company in hand tracking and gesture analysis in 3D-space by using a standard RGB camera and proprietary AI based software package that can run on any smart device. The Swedish company brings unparalleled intuition in human-computer interactions (HCI), refined through 10 years of research and development in gesture technology. 

 

Smart4Diagnostics (former DX-Labtrack) closes the data gap between blood collection and lab analysis and enables a new quality standard for diagnostic decision making. The German company changes medical diagnostics from a trust-based system into an evidence-based system and creates a trustworthy and verifiably basis for the personalized medicine of the future. 

 

Smarterials Technology GmbH (ST) introduces a ground-breaking double gloving substitute innovation based on micro-particles, multi-layers and the use of natural raw materials (TRL 6-7) to the European (and global) market. 

 

The SunOyster is a concentrating solar technology which converts the energy of the sun into both electricity and heat at the same time. The German company can turn heat into cold with the help of thermal chillers. This ”Tri-generation“ will be the cheapest solar energy in sunny regions wherever heat or cold are needed. 

 

SDS Optic is a Polish biotech company focused on the development of novel diagnostic strategies in the field of oncology. SDS Optic presents a revolutionary opto-biological methodology that allows for instant cellular processes studies including in-vivo cancer diagnosis with single-cell resolution.

 

Novostia is a privately held medical device company developing an innovative artificial heart valve, designed for patients of any age, including children. The company based in Switzerland is working to advance its technology to clinical trials and regulatory approvals to improve the quality of life of millions of people worldwide suffering from aortic and mitral valve disease.
