A call for experts to represent SMEs in European and international standardisation work has been published in our funding portal. The objective is to appoint experts to represent the interests of SMEs in Technical Committees (TCs), Sub-Committees (SCs) and Working Groups (WGs) of CEN, CENELEC, ETSI, ISO and IEC. Experts will be appointed for one year (2025) and their appointment is renewable.
Experts will be paid a lump-sum of €10.500 for their work, as well as an additional lump-sum payment covering person-days, travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for physical meetings attended.
The call is open to candidates with technical expertise in any standardisation topic relevant for SMEs. An ICT focus is particularly encouraged.
The deadline to submit applications is set to 9 September 2024, 00:00 CET.
Applications must be backed by a recognised SME association. A support letter from this SME association will need to be submitted together with the candidate's application. If you wish to benefit from the support of the European DIGITAL SME Alliance, please consult the following page and fill out the applicable form by 23 August.
Requests from the Members of the European Digital Innovators Club, as well as members of its national and regional member associations, will be prioritised.
