Open Call – Pitch your sustainable energy solution at Vaasa Energy Week!

The EIC Innovation Procurement Programme powered by SPIN4EIC is organizing a Pitching session in the context of the Vaasa Energy Week 2025 in cooperation with the City of Vaasa (Finland), on 19 March 2025. This will be an unmissable opportunity for EIC beneficiaries to share their solutions in the field of energy systems and district heating solutions to the City of Vaasa. Are you an EIC Beneficiary? Do you have an interesting solution to pitch at the Vaasa Energy Week? Apply here before 9 February 2025. Seize the opportunity to connect with Vaasa and to showcase you solutions at Vaasa Energy Week – don't miss your chance! For this pitching opportunity a maximum of 5 EIC Beneficiaries will be selected to participate in the pitching session. The City is seeking advanced high-temperature heat pump technologies that fulfill the following combined requirements:

• Temperature and Capacity: Systems capable of delivering output temperatures of 130°C or higher while providing an industrial-scale capacity of at least 5 MW. These solutions could also have the potential for integration with steam production capabilities
• Air-Water Heat Pumps: Complementary innovations in air-water heat pump technology are also of interest for enhancing flexibility and efficiency in energy systems.

To realize these objectives, the city has earmarked an approximate budget of €20 million over the coming years. You can find here all the details of this opportunity.   

Open Market Consultation for the future Public Procurement of Innovative solutions to establish a centralised AI marketplace

FOD Beleid en Ondersteuning (BOSA) is spearheading an innovative project to establish a centralized AI marketplace, designed to streamline access to cutting-edge AI tools and services for federal organizations in Belgium. This ambitious initiative is set to revolutionize how federal organisations procure and utilize AI technologies, fostering innovation and efficiency across the board. The centralized AI marketplace aims to:

• Simplify the procurement process for AI solutions.
• Promote collaboration between federal organizations and AI service providers.
• Accelerate the adoption of AI technologies in public services.

This initiative represents a significant opportunity for AI developers and service providers to showcase their solutions and contribute to the digital transformation of government services in Belgium. BOSA is organizing an Open Market Consultation (OMC) to gather insights and feedback from stakeholders. This session is a unique opportunity to:

• Learn more about the vision and goals of the AI marketplace.
• Share your expertise and insights on the development of this initiative.
• Network with other stakeholders in the AI domain.
