About
The CDTI Innovation Center, the Spanish Center for Technological Development and Innovation, is a public entity under the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. With the overall objective to promote technological innovation in the national business sector, the CDTI has issues a tender for the development of sensors and vessel detention systems. The tender is a PCP.
The Challenge
The challenge is aimed at enhancing border surveillance and control capabilities through the development of advanced sensors and vessel detection systems. The purpose of the PCP is to support the design and prototyping of innovative solutions that can effectively address critical issues such as irregular immigration, illicit trafficking, and threats to public safety and infrastructure, including criminal and terrorist activity. More specifically, the challenge aims to foster the development of high-performance optronic sensors capable of delivering clear, stable, high-resolution, and high-contrast imaging over long distances, which will enable real-time detection and tracking of suspicious activities.

Who can apply
The tender is open to Spanish or foreign entities having full legal capacity, either individually or as part of a Temporary Consortium of Companies, as specified in the procedure's descriptive document.
