The EIC Innovation Procurement Programme powered by SPIN4EIC is organizing a Pitching session in the context of the Vaasa Energy Week 2025 in cooperation with the City of Vaasa (Finland), on 19 March 2025. This will be an unmissable opportunity for EIC beneficiaries to share their solutions in the field of energy systems and district heating solutions to the City of Vaasa. Are you an EIC Beneficiary? For this pitching opportunity a maximum of 5 EIC Beneficiaries will be selected to participate in the pitching session. The City is seeking advanced high-temperature heat pump technologies that fulfill the following combined requirements:

• Temperature and Capacity: Systems capable of delivering output temperatures of 130°C or higher while providing an industrial-scale capacity of at least 5 MW. These solutions could also have the potential for integration with steam production capabilities
• Air-Water Heat Pumps: Complementary innovations in air-water heat pump technology are also of interest for enhancing flexibility and efficiency in energy systems.

To realize these objectives, the city has earmarked an approximate budget of €20 million over the coming years. You can find here all the details of this opportunity.
