The European Innovation Council (EIC) is giving EIC-backed SMEs working on energy transition or sustainable energy solutions an opportunity to present their solutions to expert investors online on 16 October. With 100+ companies in its energy portfolio, the EIC plays a key role in backing the technologies powering the transition to a reliable, climate-neutral energy sector. The EIC ePitching on Energy Transition & Sustainable Energy will play a crucial role in this effort, allowing these innovators to refine their pitch, showcase their solutions and forge strategic connections with leading investors.

Aside from the jury panel investors, the event will also feature representatives from Caygan Capital Ltd, First Imagine!FORWARD.one, GET Fund, Iberdrola Ventures PERSEO, Inven Capital, Shell Ventures, rEnergy Partners, UVC Partners and Volvo Car Group.

Selected companies will also benefit from exclusive pitch training, and the possibility of being invited for one-to-one and follow-up meetings.

Online. Selected beneficiaries will receive a Zoom link to join the session. 
   
 

Who can apply?

EIC-backed companies working on energy transition or sustainable energy solutions that have either been selected for or have already received the investment component can apply for the opportunity.

Eligible beneficiaries include:

  • H2020 EIC Accelerator Pilot blended finance companies, which have received the grant and investment component;
  • EIC Accelerator Horizon Europe companies selected for grant first, blended finance or investment only.
  • EIC Transition SMEs 

Please note that priority in the selection process might be given to EIC-backed companies that have not participated in previous EIC Business Acceleration Services’ Investor Days or ePitchings, or raised capital in the 12 months prior to this session.  
 

How can you be selected?

In order to qualify for selection, you must complete all sections of the application form. Please make sure that the information completed allows the EIC to verify your eligibility for the call (i.e. fill in correctly the project number, acronym, etc.). 

Please note that your profile will be shared with the session’s jury members, who will base their selection on the information you submitted, as well as their investment preferences. Any information you submit is also liable to be shared in an upcoming dissemination materials, such as social media posts and an event brochure.

Cancellation policy

Who is organising this ePitching?

This opportunity is brought to you by the EIC Investor Readiness and Outreach Programme, an initiative of the EIC’s Business Acceleration Services (BAS). The programme aims to enhance the investor readiness of EIC Accelerator innovators, providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge to attract investment and scale their ventures. Once ready, the programme also provides introductions to the best investors in their sector, namely through ePitchings and Investor Days.
