Open Call: Matchmake to support EU-Japan’s Green Transition / 14 to 31 March

At the occasion of the World Smart Energy Week in Tokyo, the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) are organising the EU-Japan Green Transition Matchmaking Platform, with meetings taking place from 14 to 31 March 2022.

The platform aims to bring together European and Japanese companies, clusters and research organisations in the fields of Renewable Energy, Smart Energy Infrastructure, Energy and Resource Efficiency, Biomaterials, and other Decarbonisation technologies. Participants should register their profiles as well as their offers and requests in a section called “Marketplace opportunities”. After analysing each other’s details, they can request online meetings.

Partners are looking for the following technologies:

  • Renewable chemical products and bio plastics, biodegradable plastics, 
  • Recycling of chemicals, Recycling for plastics, waste management
  • Wood-based bioplastic technology
  • Decarbonization [low-carbon] technology to be applied to steelmaking industry
  • Electrolysers for Hydrogen production
  • Technologies to improve parts optimized for auto/marine hydrogen engines
  • Technologies for water quality improvement

 

Participation Details

  • Meetings will take place from 14 to 31 March 2022.
  • The participant list will only be visible to registered users. 
  • Participation for organisations from the EU and Japan will be free of charge.
  • Participation is open only to EU Member States and third countries within the COSME/SMP framework
  • The platform is open for registrations until 30 March 2022. In a second phase, it is planned to establish the platform as a EU-Japan community platform running for a whole year
