European Research and Innovation Days 2022: Register and attend the European Commission’s flagship event on R&I!

On 28 and 29 September 2022, the European Commission is hosting its annual trademark event: the European Research and Innovation (R&I) Days. This event, that allows everyone to get involved from anywhere, intends to bring together policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs and the public to debate and shape the future of research and innovation in Europe and beyond.

This year’s EU R&I Days give you the opportunity to debate how EU research and innovation will help build our future world, promoting discussion and outlining new solutions. At the event, you can participate in discussions on the new European Innovation Agenda, the European Year of Youth, the richness of European cultural creativity, the EU Missions and many more topics.

You can discover the sessions of your interest in the official programme and get ready to discuss the future of research and innovation with speakers and participants from across Europe and beyond.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) will also take part in two different sessions to talk about how research, technology and innovation should be connected, and on accelerating scale-up in Europe.

Accelerating scale-up in Europe

About the session: There is a need to allow the continent’s flourishing ecosystem of deep tech start-ups to attract more risk capital and so meet the increased finances necessary to develop the new green, digital and health champions within Europe.

About the session: This session will look at the complementary support provided by the European Research Council, the European Innovation Council and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology for Europe to lead the wave of deep-tech innovation.
