For this pitching opportunity a maximum of 5 EIC Beneficiaries will be selected to participate in the pitching session.

The City of Vaasa is committed to advancing sustainable energy solutions and addressing critical challenges in energy efficiency and resource utilization. A key asset in Vaasa’s energy infrastructure is Finland's largest heat storage facility. To maximize its potential, Vaasa aims to integrate innovative technologies, particularly high-temperature heat pumps, into the district heating network and other applications. A future challenge lies also in the underutilization of diverse waste heat sources. The objective is to improve the capture and utilization of these resources to enhance energy efficiency and reduce emissions.

To realize these objectives, the city has earmarked an approximate budget of €20 million over the coming years.

You can find here all the details of this opportunity.
