Open Call: Pitch at the “Raising funds in the Security and Defence sector” event

Funderbeam, together with NATO and The Royal Academy of Engineering, invite you to apply to pitch at the “Raising funds in the security and defence sector” event. The aim of this initiative is to bring together industry professionals, startups and investors to discuss the need of trusted capital and the funding journey of companies in the security and defence industry.

 

About the event:

Date: 12th of November

Time: 17.00–19.00 (CET)

Location: Online event

 

Who can apply?

Funderbeam, NATO and The Royal Academy of Engineering are now looking for 4–5 startups within the security and defence industry that are currently looking for funds to grow their business, to apply to pitch at the event. The startups will be given 5 minutes each to pitch, followed by Q&A, in front of prominent investors, industry experts and policy advisers.

 

How can you be selected?

Send in your pitch deck together with a couple of lines about your current financing round and your motivations for pitching at this event to cameron.gammon@funderbeam.com.

 

Deadline:

Please apply for a spot by the 20th of October 2020. The finalists will be picked by the 23rd of October. The 4–5 startups that are selected to pitch will be able to raise funds on the Funderbeam platform!

 

Please make sure to register to the event here. The organisation will send the online event link to all participants one day prior to the event.
