EIC Challenge Platform: Discover the open innovation calls powered by EIT KICs

The EIC Challenge Platform continues to receive challenges and open calls from various leading innovation-oriented organisations in Europe. The most recent opportunities have been shared by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT). This time, EIT is looking for solutions among different Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs): EIT RawMaterials, EIT Digital and EIT Urban Mobility. Below, you can have a brief look at the requirements and deadlines for submissions, and, to know more, you can visit the challenges’ pages in our own EIC Challenge Platform. EIT Urban Mobility – Call for Innovation

The overall purpose of the Innovation Programme is to resolve challenges facing European cities to improve citizens’ lives, by taking innovative ideas and putting them to the test in real life. The Innovation Programme co-creates ideas that lead to the proposal of projects, the demonstration of new solutions, the development of living labs, and the creation of commercial value.

The Call for Innovation focuses on four City Challenges: Active Mobility, Sustainable City Logistics, Energy and Mobility, and Future Mobility.

EIT Raw Materials - Developing raw materials into a major strength for Europe

The new Call for Projects 2023 of EIT Raw Materials has just been launched. It is focused on working towards a more resilient Europe, reducing dependencies on critical raw materials and introducing resource-efficient lifecycles to new products. The call is also open to non-members.

The deadline for applications is 31 May 2022.

EIT Digital - Innovation Factory 2022

'Innovation Factory 2022' targets entrepreneurial minds planning to launch or boost a deep tech venture up to EUR 250,000. The work programme is guided by the EIT Digital Strategic Innovation Agenda 2022-2024, which identifies the five focus areas of EIT Digital strategy: Digital Tech, Digital Industry, Digital Cities, Digital Wellbeing and Digital Finance.

Application deadline: continuous intake of proposals throughout 2022 with 3 pre-defined cut-off dates. The next cut off dates are 1 June, 2022 and 15 November, 2022.
