The EU-funded project InnoBuyer has just announced a series of online Open Market Consultation Sessions, tailored to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) developing innovative solutions (open to EIC-supported companies). These events will focus on each of the 15 InnoBuyer Challenges, proposed by the big private and public organisations with unmet innovation needs participating in the InnoBuyer support programme.

The InnoBuyer project has onboarded Challengers from different sectors, such as Education, Energy & Water, Healthcare, Public Administration, Manufacturing, and Transports. Through these events, InnoBuyer aims to facilitate fruitful discussions between the Challengers and innovative solution providers, potential Solvers of these Challenges.

Participants in the Open Market Consultation Sessions will have the chance to learn more about the funding opportunities associated with each challenge, interact with the Challengers to discuss potential solutions, development barriers and possible types of pilots.

What’s next...

Following these individual market consultation sessions, each Challenger will have the opportunity to refine its Challenge description, based on the insights and recommendations gathered. 10 of these Challenges will be launched in a Call for innovation suppliers/Solvers, expected for October and November 2023, to which innovative SMEs will be able to apply for. Selected Solvers will get up to €58.5k.
