Open call: Join the EIC Pavilion at GITEX Europe 2025!

For the first time ever, GITEX, the world's largest technology fair, is coming to Europe in 2025. The European Innovation Council (EIC) invites you to apply for GITEX Europe 2025, set to be Europe’s largest tech & startup event. A specially extended delegation of 30 EIC awardees will have the opportunity to present their innovations at the EIC Pavilion from 21 to 23 May 2025 in Berlin, Germany.

GITEX is the most influential meeting place for the technology industry, bringing together thought leaders and innovators to discuss, debate and challenge current sector trends, showcase revolutionary products and identify future opportunities.

As Europe’s largest enterprise technology and digital event, GITEX Europe 2025 is expected to attract over 60,000 attendees and 2,500 exhibitors from more than 100 countries. The trade fair will highlight latest technology advancements in key European sectors, including public services, health and biopharma, banking & finance, sustainability development, manufacturing, AI, science and R&D, future mobility, education & retail.

What’s in it for you?

SMEs, startups, and scale-ups funded by the EIC and chosen to participate in GITEX Europe 2025 will gain exclusive access to essential business services. This includes pitching opportunities, matchmaking support, complimentary booths within the EIC Pavilion to showcase their innovations, and comprehensive coaching services pre-, during, and post- the trade fair. 

Who can apply?

GITEX Europe 2025 is looking for EIC-funded SMEs, start-ups and scale-ups working on innovative advancements in the following fields: 

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Healthcare and Biotechnology
  • Cloud & Mobile solutions
  • Cybersecurity
  • Sustainable tech
  • Digital Finance
  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Quantum Computing
  • Digital Health
  • Transport and mobility

Application 

After logging in with your EU-Login credentials, please fill in the application form and answer all the questions. 

You will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • Your plan to internationalise your innovative products and services overseas.
  • The expected impact of your participation in the trade fair.
  • The fit of your innovative products and services with the trade fair.
  • Your commitment to financial and human resources for participation in a trade fair. 
  • Your contribution to EU strategic autonomy and/or the image of the EU as a technology powerhouse.

Kindly note that the details furnished in your application form will be shared with external specialists to optimize potential benefits and ensure the efficiency of scheduled meetings.

Subsequently, the EIC team will reach out to all candidates in early December post the completion of the selection process to communicate the status of their applications.

About the EIC International Trade Fairs Programme 3.0

The EIC International Trade Fairs Programme 3.0 supports the internationalisation of European SMEs, scaleups and startups, building on the success of its predecessor, the EIC Overseas Trade Fairs Programme (OTF) 2.0. The Programme offers EIC awardees access to 12 diverse international trade fairs spanning EU and non-EU markets (Middle East, and the United States of America). Selected EIC-funded SMEs, startups and scaleups from EU Member States and Associated Countries have access to the Programme.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations will only be considered in duly documented cases of “force majeure”. Unjustified cancellation can lead to exclusion in future EIC Business Acceleration Services initiatives.
