InnoMatch, a key project of the EIC Innovation Procurement Programme, has launched an open call to support the pilot testing or proof-of-concept of innovative solutions developed by EIC Awardees with public and private buyers. This activity will help EIC-backed innovators deploy their solutions in a real-life scenario with up to EUR 60,000 in funding, while assisting buyers in identifying and solving their current challenges.

What are the benefits?
Selected applicants get the chance to:
- Access financial support up to EUR 60.000 per pilot;
- Enter the 12-month InnoMatch Programme ‘Prepare, Deploy and Assess’: designed to ensure pilot success with comprehensive support, including funding and access to committed buyers. This aims to accelerates the solution’s path to market through effective implementation;
- Access growth services: training sessions, coaching, mentoring
Additionally, EIC-backed innovators will be able to access early customers and financial support to pilot their solutions, enabling them to overcome market entry barriers and scale up.
For their part, buyers teaming up with the EIC-backed innovators participating in this activity will have the opportunity to test free-of-charge innovative solutions tailored to their needs, enabling them to foster efficient innovation adoption and reduce procurement risks.
Who is eligible?
For this open call, applicants must be single legal entities who are EIC Awardees (beneficiaries of the EIC Pathfinder or EIC Transition, beneficiaries with an EIC contract or investment agreement for EIC Accelerator, and/or winners of EIC Prizes), and team up with public or private buyers whose needs match their solution.
The open call is sector agnostic. Applicants can apply with solutions from any sector.

Note that only EIC Awardees are eligible to submit the application for this open call. They will submit the application in both their name and the buyer.
About InnoMatch
Finding first customers is one of the main barriers that is hampering access to the market and commercialisation of innovative solutions developed by innovative SMEs. To mainstream the uptake of innovation procurement, InnoMatch supports pilot testing or proof-of-concept demonstration of innovative solutions created by EIC beneficiaries for public and private procurement customers. InnoMatch will support a total of 38 pilots, covering up to EUR 60,000 per pilot.
