The European Innovation Council (EIC) wants to engage with Europe’s innovation ecosystem stakeholders. With the EIC Ecosystem Partnerships: Exploring Synergies online event, to be held on September 30, 10h00 CEST, the EIC will present its vision on its role in the European innovation ecosystem and gather feedback to understand the needs of the ecosystem partners interested in collaboration. Why does the EIC want to engage with ecosystem stakeholders?
The EIC’s ambition is to act as a connector in the European innovation ecosystem, linking its beneficiaries with other innovation actors that can help them transition into the market and grow.
The EIC Ecosystem Partnerships: Exploring Synergies online event will run in parallel and independently of the Open Call for Partners launched by the EIC.
What to expect?
The EIC Ecosystem Partnerships: Exploring Synergies event will be a moderated online session, featuring key speakers from the European Innovation Council, the European Commission and representatives from innovation ecosystem stakeholders.
On September 30, from 10 to 12 AM CEST, participants will get to learn about the EIC’s vision on its role within the European Innovation Ecosystem and share their input through several actions, a roundtable and a Q&A moment.
A survey, to be disseminated after the session, will gather feedback on the needs and drivers for cooperation for the potential ecosystem partners, as well as suggestions for the practical implementation of these synergies.
Who can apply?
If you are an Accelerator, Incubator, Research and Technology organization or any other entity working with European innovators, you are welcome to join the meeting.

What’s next?
This event is designed to address innovation ecosystem stakeholders and gather their insight on potential synergies and collaborations with the EIC. This is a unique chance to have your feedback shape the future EIC actions and guide the implementation of ongoing projects.
This online session will be followed by a physical event. The upcoming event will gather around 50 innovation ecosystem stakeholders for a series of interactive Focus Groups on the topics identified through the EIC Ecosystem Partnerships: Exploring Synergies survey, as well as networking moments.
