A delegation of 5 EIC-funded companies will present their tech solutions at GITEX Africa 2025. These companies will be featured in the European Pavilion during the event from 14 to 16 April 2025 in Marrakech, Morrocco. The mission is facilitated by the EIC International Trade Fairs Programme 3.0, an initiative of the EIC Business Acceleration Services offering these EIC companies a unique opportunity to connect with influential business partners across Africa and beyond.
GITEX Africa 2025 marks the third edition of GITEX GLOBAL's expansion beyond the UAE, aiming to connect tech innovation across Africa and beyond. The event will gather tech giants, investors, startups, and unicorns from Africa and worldwide.
This significant event highlights Africa's rise as a key digital economy hub and offers a unique platform for showcasing technological advancements and promoting international collaborations in a market where investments are expected to substantially increase in the coming decades.
The 2024 edition featured over 30 000 visitors and 1 500 exhibitors from 130 countries, including nearly 700 startups. It attracted more than 400 leading investors, with 70% coming from outside Africa. Over three days, there were over 1 500 meetings between startups and investors. The event also received extensive media coverage, with over 400 representatives from 27 countries.

AquaB Nanobubble Innovations
AquaB Nanobubble Innovations (Ireland) is an EIC Accelerator company, specialised in nanobubble generation technology for water treatment and agricultural irrigation efficiency. Their innovative solutions reduce operational costs and enhance crop protection, making them ideal for applications in agriculture and the oil and gas industries.
Billon Group
Billon Group (Poland) is a EIC SME Instrument company leveraging blockchain technology to provide secure, transparent data exchange solutions and digital identity systems. Their platform supports financial inclusion, supply chain transparency, and improved government services through advanced blockchain architecture.
Brite Solar
Brite Solar (Greece) is a EIC SME Instrument company that develops solar glass products using advanced nanomaterials to support sustainable agriculture and energy-efficient buildings. Their agrivoltaics technology allows simultaneous land use for food production and renewable energy generation, addressing critical environmental challenges.
DigiFarm
DigiFarm (Norway) is an EIC Accelerator company offering precision agriculture technologies powered by deep neural network models for accurate field boundary detection and crop classification. Their agtech API solutions enable seamless integration of high-resolution agricultural data into farming operations, optimising productivity and sustainability.
Invis Wearables
Invis Wearables (Poland) is an EIC INDUSTRIAL LEADERSHIP - Innovation in SMEs company that combines AI-powered biometrics with health monitoring in a sleek wearable format. Their devices provide continuous authentication through motion-based AI (Invis Move ID) and track vital signs like body temperature, heart rate, and stress levels (Invis Health), enhancing security and well-being.
On 11 March, an online pre-departure workshop was held with the 5 EIC-funded companies, EIC representatives, and market experts. The goal of the workshop was to prepare the selected companies for GITEX Africa 2025 by providing detailed information about trade fair opportunities, and explaining the approach to onsite matchmaking services.
Leading up to the event, these EIC companies will receive additional coaching services and participate in various matchmaking activities, including reverse pitch sessions and one-on-one meetings with potential investors and business partners.
