To build on the latest climate-related matters, the European Innovation Council (EIC) is using the Greenhouse Gas Resource Library as a way of keeping beneficiaries up to date on current and important pieces of information. This time around we are covering information related to pivotal areas such as Green Electricity, Carbon Neutrality, Science Based Targets and Aviation & Ship Industries.
For those who can’t wait to get their hands on the new content, a more detailed view of the new additions related to key topics of interest can be found in the EIC GHG Resource Library group.
More specifically, in this month’s edition we dive into the recently released ‘Global Risks Report 2022’ from the World Economic Forum and we go through the Climate Action Network’s report to see how the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) impacts climate action. In addition, we have prepared seven short reports where we explain how stakeholders can benefit from GHG reduction efforts per sector, including public institutions, communities and suppliers:
- The Global Risks Report 2022
- Will CAP Strategic Plans Help Deliver Much Needed Climate Action (Agriculture)
- Stakeholders benefits of GHG reduction efforts - Communities
- Stakeholders benefits of GHG reduction efforts - Public Institutions
- Stakeholders benefits of GHG reduction efforts - Suppliers
About the EIC GHG programme
With the EIC GHG programme, part of the Business Acceleration Services, the EIC offers its beneficiaries a dedicated GHG tool, the GHG Badges & CO2 Neutral Label initiative, and further resources.
In addition, co-creation activities with corporates, industrial associations, regions in carbon transition and other EIC beneficiaries are planned. More information on the EIC GHG programme can be found here.
