About

The European start-up scene is teeming with life: many European cities are establishing themselves as some of the most vibrant start-up hubs the world has to offer. After having visited the innovation scene in Stockholm and Barcelona, Berlin is the EIC’s last destination for this year. A great opportunity to get to know Berlin’s innovation ecosystem, meet with corporates, investors and accelerators and submerge yourself in Berlin’s unique business culture. The event will take place on 15 and 16 December 2020, from 10h till 16h CET.

EIC Innovation Hub Visit

The EIC Hub Visit is a novel concept, brought to you by the EIC Business Acceleration Services. It combines the unique elements of our flagship-events (Corporate Days, Investors Days and Community Trainings), while adding a dash of digital sightseeing of some of the most exciting start-up hubs in Europe!

Whether you’re curious to find out what these hubs can offer in terms of conditions and funding schemes, you would like to meet with large corporates and investors active in these hubs or you’re looking to enter a new European market, there’s something for everyone’s taste.

The start-up scene in Berlin

Berlin, a city known for its vibrant and lively arts and culture scene. As off late, it’s also home to some of Europe’s most innovative start-ups. With new companies popping up every 20 minutes, Berlin can surely be labelled as one of Europe’s most attractive breeding grounds for innovation. Moreover, with 50% of start-ups established by non-German founders, the city lives up to its international reputation. Berlin is truly open to everyone.

And now EIC-innovators will get the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of this innovative landscape. Through dedicated seminars, reserve pitching sessions and meetings with corporates, like Pfizer and Edeka, local investors and other players, like APX, you will get to learn Berlin from A to Z.

The EIC Hub Visit to Berlin will take place on 15-16 December 2020 (10h to 16h CET), with the first day consisting of seminars, talks and meetings and the second day dedicated to one-to-one meetings with Berlin’s innovation players. A detailed agenda will follow soon.
