EIC Partners’ Day: connecting Europe’s innovation ecosystem in the run-up to the EIC Summit!

EIC Partners' Day
Someone

In the run-up to the EIC Summit, the European Innovation Council (EIC) will bring together EIC Partners, EIC-backed innovators and other members of the innovation ecosystem to connect with each other at the EIC Partners’ Day. This initiative is happening in Brussels on 1 April, with the option to attend matchmaking sessions in the early morning of 2 April 2025, the first day of the EIC Summit, dedicated to EIC beneficiaries and EIC ecosystem partners. The EIC Partners’ Day will enable EIC beneficiaries and service providers from across Europe and beyond to network, exchange knowledge and explore possible collaborations.

Register by 14 March to attend the EIC Partners’ Day!
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and subject to the limitations of venue’s capacity

Are you interested in connecting with key stakeholders and service providers from across the innovation ecosystem? Do you want to have your say on how to refine high-quality, accessible services to address the needs of the EIC innovators?

Whether you are an EIC Partner looking to network with other organisations or an EIC beneficiary interested in getting to know the EIC Partners providing services to beneficiaries via the EIC Service Catalogue, this opportunity is for you. Participating will allow you to extend your stay in Brussels and join these activities dedicated to the network of organisations providing tailored services to EIC beneficiaries.

This edition of the EIC Partners’ Day is powered by the EIC Ecosystem Partnership programme in collaboration with EIC ACCESS+, a new initiative of the EIC Business Acceleration Services to help EIC beneficiaries access the services on the EIC Service Catalogue with grants to co-fund the service’s cost.

When and where is the event taking place?

The main activities of the EIC Partners’ Day will take place on 1 April, 10:00-17:30 (CET), at Convent Garden Floor 25, Brussels.

There will be an additional moment for speed dating and matchmaking sessions between EIC Partners and beneficiaries on 2 April, 9:00-10:00 (CET), at Tour & Taxis, Avenue du Port 86c, 1000 Brussels, just before the start of the EIC Summit.

Make sure to sign up for the EIC Summit as an ‘EIC BAS Ecosystem Partner’ to attend Europe’s prime event where deeptech meets policy on 2 April, the day dedicated to EIC beneficiaries and EIC ecosystem partners.

Should you wish to participate, please note that the EIC cannot cover your travel expenses or the costs of your stay in Brussels.

Where can I find the full agenda for the EIC Partners’ Day 2025?

The tentative agenda will soon be available. Please note that this may be subject to changes.

What’s in it for the EIC Partners’ joining this gathering?

For EIC Partners, this is a chance to:

  • Network, exchange knowledge and best practices with the diverse network of EIC Partners, as well as with EIC officials;
  • Participate in workshops powered by the EIC ACCESS+ initiative to foster collaboration and mutual learning, and ensure the co-creation and refinement of high-quality, accessible services that address the needs of the EIC innovators;
  • Interact with the EIC beneficiaries interested in joining the event to forge new connections and gain a greater understanding of their needs;
  • Join the speed dating and matchmaking sessions on 2 April to directly present and explain your services to the EIC beneficiaries attending the EIC Summit.

Why should EIC beneficiaries sign up?

The EIC Partners’ Day 2025 is allowing a limited number of EIC beneficiaries to join the event.

These innovators will have the unique opportunity to:

  • Network with leading service providers from Europe and beyond;
  • Have their say on how to refine the offers and services available for EIC beneficiaries via the EIC Service Catalogue during dedicated workshops and sessions;
  • Meet with EIC Partners for speed dating and matchmaking sessions to learn about their services and explore ideas for future collaborations.

What is the EIC Service Catalogue?

The EIC Service Catalogue gathers a vast number of support services, from fundraising to acceleration, matchmaking, and even niche services such as intellectual property and legal support, infrastructure provision, and many others. These services are tailored to EIC beneficiaries and Seal of Excellence holders and provided by the group of innovation ecosystem organisations known as EIC Partners.

If you are an EIC-funded innovator or Seal of Excellence holder having trouble finding resources/services to scale up your solution, the EIC Service Catalogue may be the tool you need.

Can EIC beneficiaries receive financial support to cover the costs of the paid offers on the EIC Service Catalogue?

EIC innovators can apply for financial support to access the paid services on the EIC Service Catalogue through an open call powered by the EIC ACCESS+ initiative.

This call offers up to EUR 60,000 in grants, covering up to 50% of the costs to access specialised services available through the platform. This opportunity is available for EIC beneficiaries or Seal of Excellence holders under the Horizon Europe program.

What is the EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme?

The EIC Service Catalogue is brought to you by the EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme, part of the EIC Business Acceleration Services. This programme is creating a network of partner organisations to address one of the greatest challenges for EIC innovators: accessing specialised sector-focused services. By forging new strategic partnerships with key actors, such as business accelerators, incubators, and research and training organisations, the EIC helps its beneficiaries access their resources, facilities and expertise so that no individual need is left unaddressed.

For any questions or technical issues concerning the programme or this session, please contact us through the EIC Community’s contact page with the subject ‘EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme’ or contact our helpdesk at eicpartnerships-helpdesk@eic-bas.eu.
