Following the massive success of the European Pavilion at CES 2022, the EIC OTF Programme 2.0 brings again a delegation of 20 top innovators to CES 2023, the most influential tech tradeshow globally, in order to showcase their innovations and engage in business deals with international stakeholders.
The world’s-leading tech exhibition is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, USA from 5 to 8 January 2023. After a thorough evaluation of applications from companies across Europe, the European Innovation Council (EIC) announced the delegation of SMEs, startups and scale ups that were selected based on solid internationalisation plans, technological fit with the scope of the trade fair, as well as human and financial resources, among other criteria.
During CES 2023, the European delegation will have a major opportunity not only to impress international audience with their exceptional solutions, but also to forge strategic business partnerships with like-minded counterparts. The spectrum of EU innovations ranges from digital technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Machine Learning, IoT) to creative concepts for product design and manufacturing.

Prior to the famous tradeshow, the selected companies participated in a one-day online preparatory workshop. The agenda included briefing sessions regarding practical aspects of the EIC OTF Programme 2.0 (logistics, customised and standard services offered, business etiquette) to guarantee a successful business mission.
In attendance were guest speakers, who covered crucial topics regarding CES 2023. John Kelley, the Vice President of CTA & Acting Show Director of CES, informed the delegation on the unlimited networking, programming and partnering opportunities of the leading tradeshow.
Former participants in EIC OTF Programme 2.0, Frank Sandelov, CEO at CardLab Innovation and Tjasa Hribar, Marketing Communications Manager at Elaphe, shared their valuable experience, offering tips for an outstanding pitch preparation. «CES is a great window towards the consumer side and an excellent opportunity to promote our company, products and capabilities. The support received from the EICOTF team is invaluable, as both the work efforts and cost related to such a participation in many cases would exceed the resources available. It is our experience that the companies selected to participate in such an event can connect very closely and be very supportive by sharing network, while also have time to explore potential synergies», highlighted Mr. Sandelov.
