Vinnova, Swedish Innovation Agency, has launched a call for proposals to support research and innovation projects that drive advancements in digitalization in Sweden. The funding encompasses the development of innovative solutions, including prototypes, demonstration versions of products and services, as well as pilot projects, testing, and validation.

The Challenge

As part of the Vinnova’s Advanced digitalisation program, the challenge “Advanced digitalization – Industrial Innovation 2025” aims to develop the next generation of advanced and secure digital solutions, contributing to Sweden’s digital transformation and strengthening Swedish research and innovation ecosystem. In particular, the call for proposals aims to support the development of innovative solutions related to the following five thematic areas: AI for industrial applications, advanced digital infrastructure, industrial flexible energy control, human-AI interaction for industry electrification or XR - learning and innovation.

Timeframe

Deadline for Submitting Offers: April 9^h, 2025, 14:00 CET.

Who can apply

The call for proposals is aimed at consortia with at least two participants, of which at least one must be a company and a Swedish legal entity. Universities, university colleges, research institutes and other relevant organizations can also participate in the consortium.
