POWERBASE OMC: Shaping the Future of Emergency Energy Solutions
POWERBASE Open Market Consultation
The POWERBASE Coordination and Support Action challenge aims to ensure that Emergency Response Organisations (EROs) across Europe are equipped with highly innovative, low-emission, mobile, and self-sufficient power supply solutions for Emergency Shelters and Bases of Operation.
The initiative is led by a consortium of 8 leading Emergency Response Organisations (of which, 7 are public procurers) from across Europe, including: German Federal Agency for Technical Relief, Austrian Red Cross, Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, French Ministry of Interior, Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco, Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, Asociácia Samaritánov Slovenskej Republiky, Openbaar Lichaam Gezamenlijke Brandweer. They are complimented by: Fraunhofer Gesellschaft (the lead procurer organization), the Center for Security Studies, VIEIRA LEGAL and ARTTIC.
The OMC seeks innovative input from suppliers, solution providers, and stakeholders that can help shape the technical and functional requirements in preparation of a future Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP).
