On September 29, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:30 (CEST), we’ll host a webinar to explore the most important aspects and benefits of green electricity and how it can impact the planet positively.

About

Part of the European Innovation Council (EIC), the GHG initiative entails solidifying the phrase “climate action is a business case” and aiming to lower the carbon footprint of Europe’s most innovative startups and scaleups in conjunction with Europe’s largest community of innovators and researchers. With that in mind, if greening the future is something that you want to be part of, you’ve come to the right place. So, save the date: on September 29, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:30 (CEST), we’ll host a webinar to explore the most important aspects and benefits of green electricity and how it can impact the planet positively.

Applications are open until September 22, 2021 (first come, first served).

Apply here!

The EIC GHG programme offers EIC beneficiaries the chance to assess, track and reduce their carbon footprint. How is this related to Green Electricity? Well, green electricity means electricity produced from renewable sources such as wind, solar, water, geothermal or biomass. These have a much lower environmental impact than fossil fuels like coal and gas. Which translates into lower greenhouse gas emissions. Hence why they're referred to as renewable energy sources because they don't consume limited resources or harm the environment.

Because having a better grasp of these concepts and how you can benefit from them is something of great importance with each passing day, the EIC GHG programme entails several different aspects, including co-creation activities with partners & peers, a dedicated GHG tool to help you quantify and measure your carbon footprint and monthly webinars - such as this one - and other specific resources to further support you with dedicated mitigation measures.

Take note: happening on September 29, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:30 (CEST), this webinar will give you an insight on all things green electricity-related, meant for everyone who wants to stay ahead of the green curve.

With limited places, the applications are on a first-come, first-served basis. Best not wait long and join the EIC on this journey towards a greener Europe.
