Patents and other intellectual property (IP) rights play an important role in translating research results into commercially successful products and services. During the event, participants will be introduced to two cases from the series, hearing first-hand from the experts involved how IP supported the technology transfer and commercialisation, and which insights and key learnings they took away from the process.
Event Programme
- The Big Picture: On the Role of IP for Successful Technology Transfer
- The EPO Technology Transfer Case Studies: An Overview of the Project
- Case number 1: Oxeon
- Case number 2: Dermis Pharma
- Conclusion, Follow-up Recommendations & Outlook
The webinar is aimed at professionals who work with technology transfer, decision makers and IP professionals and other related stakeholders. The main takeaways for participants should be focused on the opportunity of learning from real case studies, in the identification of key technology transfer learnings, and raising awareness on the importance of IP, particularly of patents.
