Challenge description
In response to the pressing imperatives set forth by the European Green Deal and Adaptation Strategy, our gathering aims to catalyze sustainable solutions that address the intertwined goals of resilience and climate neutrality in European cities and regions.
As we embark on this journey, we need to propose and champion sustainable solutions that not only mitigate environmental impact but also foster resilience and adaptability in the face of a changing climate. Our pitch session revolves around identifying innovative approaches and actionable strategies that can drive transformative change at both local and regional levels.
The conference focuses on three key thematic streams, each addressing crucial aspects of resilience, sustainable development and recovery. Therefore we are seeking your pioneering products or services addressing challenges related to the following themes: water resilience and the promotion of the Blue Economy within and beyond the Mediterranean region; multilevel governance, cooperation, and the imperative of a just transition; enabling the transformation towards resilient, adaptive, and climate-neutral cities and regions.
Of particular interest is the challenge of water resilience in cities.
