The EIC International Trade Fairs Programme, an initiative of the EIC Business Acceleration Services, is inviting EIC-backed companies to apply to exhibit at GITEX Global 2025. This trade fair, known as the world's most prominent large-scale tech exhibition, will take place in Dubai from 13 to 17 October. Last year's event set records for size and scope, with over 6,500 exhibitors and attendees from 180 countries. This year, celebrating its 45th edition, GITEX will be hosted in two major venues with more than 40 halls for showcasing cutting-edge solutions from both tech giants and startups.
The EIC Pavilion at this year's event builds on the success of GITEX 2024, which boasted a 93% satisfaction rate among participating companies, with 502 meetings held with large corporates and local investors, and a 100% re-application intention rate. Supported by the EIC, the selected companies will have the chance to join this global platform and showcase European innovation in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, mobility, sustainable tech, and more. GITEX offers a stage to explore tech conferences, live-action workshops, pitch presentations, networking sessions, and business partnerships. EIC-funded companies working on innovative advancements in the following fields:

- Mobility
- Sustainable tech
- Robotics
Selection criteria
You will be assessed on your potential for the Middle East market. Expect to provide information on:
- Your plan to internationalise your innovative products and services overseas.
- The expected impact of your participation to the trade fair.
- The fit of your innovative products and services with the trade fair.
- Your commitment of financial and human resources for participation to a trade fair.
- Your contribution to EU strategic autonomy and/or the image of the EU as technology powerhouse.
Please note that you are required to submit a 4-slide pitch deck as part of your application (see instructions in the online application form). The information you provide will be shared with external experts to maximise potential benefits and the impact of your participation.
Shortlisted applicants may undergo a final interview with the selection committee, which will include a member of the investment team.

The EIC International Trade Fairs Programme 3.0 supports EIC awardees in their commercialisation strategy in foreign markets, leveraging business opportunities at 12 renowned international trade fairs, strengthening the EU innovation brand around the world. Selected EIC-funded SMEs, startups and scaleups from EU Member States and Associated Countries have access to the Programme.
