Conference: Win-wind solutions in the Baltic Sea region
The conference will take place on 10 September in Brussels. It will focus on the offshore wind potential in the Baltic Sea region, estimated to reach 100 GW by 2050, and will evaluate progress since the Marienborg Declaration and explore how to accelerate offshore wind projects.
Key discussions will include the necessary EU and Member State regulatory frameworks, investment incentives to boost offshore wind development, and the contribution of European industry.
The conference will also address the implementation of the European Commission’s Grid Action Plan and European Wind Power Package, which are crucial for achieving the EU's ambitious climate targets.
