The European Innovation Council is pleased to invite all eligible startups to participate in our monthly EIC ePitching with Investors. This edition will focus on Fintech, Insurtech & Blockchain innovations and will take place on 15 October 2020, 1 PM CET. A limited number of EIC-backed SMEs will have the chance to present their innovative solutions via an online tool to a jury of investors – consisting of representatives from NFT Ventures, Anthemis, Downing Ventures, Finch Capital, Balderton Capital and Speedinvest.

When it comes to banking and financial services, customers are constantly looking for more convenient ways to conduct transactions. Banks are shifting more towards contactless payment solutions and wireless has pushed the sector to adopt a mobile-first approach. Paper is slowly getting replaced by e-statements and forms that can be filled completely online. Fintech, Insurtech & Blockchain represent the paperless future of finance and this is why the EIC launches a dedicated ePitching with investors focusing on these topics.
