On 21 May 2025, EIC beneficiaries from across Europe gathered at GITEX Europe in Berlin to showcase their solutions for deep emissions reduction directly to private buyers from the First Mover Coalition ecosystem — real industry leaders looking for the innovations of tomorrow! The session was made possible by the EIC Innovation Procurement Programme powered by SPIN4EIC, providing a dynamic platform for EIC-backed innovators to connect with private buyers and foster new partnerships.

GITEX served as a hub for networking and knowledge exchange where EIC Beneficiaries had the opportunity to pitch their innovative solutions to a panel of key industry stakeholders and sustainability leaders from companies such as Honeywell, Siemens, SLB. The session opened the chance to explore collaborative opportunities, share insights, and discuss innovative approaches to accelerate the deployment of decarbonization solutions.

During the SPIN4EIC Pitching Session, EIC innovators took the stage to present disruptive technologies that have the potential to revolutionise the emissions reduction sector. The groundbreaking solutions showcased included:

• C2C NewCap (EIC Accelerator beneficiary) – Supercapacitors which enable more efficient energy storage for EU trucks.

• eChemicles (EIC Transition beneficiary) - Innovative & sustainable technologies that improve the sustainability of the chemical industry.

• Kraftblock (EIC Accelerator beneficiary) -  High-temperature thermal energy storage system that allows to switch to renewable energy.

• Materrup (EIC Accelerator beneficiary) - Environmentally friendly cement with the same mechanical performance as conventional methods.

• MetisMotion (EIC Accelerator beneficiary) - Customised and modular actuator systems developed and designed according to the human muscle.

For participants, the session was more than a showcase of innovation: it was a chance to connect with potential clients, investors, and partners who can accelerate the adoption of their cutting-edge solutions.
