Open Call - InnoMatch is calling out all the buyers

InnoMatch, an initiative of the EIC Innovation Procurement Programme, has launched an open call dedicated to help buyers address their unmet needs by providing access to top-notch suppliers with innovative solutions to solve their challenges.  

 

Are you ready to solve your challenge?   

Apply here until 8 May 2025 by 17:00 CET. 

 
The selected buyers will be able to feed their challenges into a future call dedicated to EIC Awardees with solutions matching the buyers’ needs (EIC Solvers), who will receive financial support up to EUR 60 000 to work on their proposed solution.  

 

After a solver is identified, the selected buyers will participate in the InnoMatch Programme ‘Prepare, Deploy and Assess’ alongside their supplier, facilitating the joint development and implementation of the solution.  

 

What are the benefits? 

  • InnoMatch will fund the supplier matching your challenges with up to EUR 60 000 to deploy the solution for you.  

  • Test innovative solutions before investing in them.  

  • Expert support throughout all the phases, from challenge refinement to the piloting phase. 

  • Enter the 12-month InnoMatch Programme ‘Prepare, Deploy and Assess’, aimed at accelerating the solution’s path to market through effective implementation.; 

 

Who is eligible?  
 
For this open call, applicants must be public or private buyers with challenges within the five thematic areas of the EIC BAS Innovation Procurement Programme: 

  • Agriculture, food and beverages 

  • Construction, infrastructure and manufacturing 

  • Digital transformation and AI 

  • Energy, environment and sustainability 

  • Health and life sciences

To apply, applicants must fill this form before 8 May 2025 by 17:00 CET.

Note that submissions can be made the buyer individually or as group of buyers.   
 

About InnoMatch  

Finding first customers is one of the main barriers that is hampering access to the market and commercialisation of innovative solutions developed by innovative SMEs. To mainstream the uptake of innovation procurement, InnoMatch supports pilot testing or proof-of-concept demonstration of innovative solutions created by EIC beneficiaries for public and private procurement customers. InnoMatch will support a total of 38 pilots, covering up to EUR 60 ,000 per pilot.
