Open Call – EIC & EuroQuity-Bpifrance Deep Tech Investor Day: Power up your innovation!

The European Innovation Council (EIC), together with EuroQuity-Bpifrance, would like to invite EIC beneficiaries to join the next EIC Investor Day, taking place in Paris (France), on 7 March 2023. Operated by Bpifrance (the French Public Investment Bank), EuroQuity is a matchmaking platform dedicated to economic development and an essential source of financing for SMEs. Its mission is to accelerate the growth of companies throughout Europe and beyond by giving concrete credentials to companies to maximize their opportunities to meet and match with investors, through their membership in e-communities and e-labels. 

 

Now, EuroQuity-Bpifrance is teaming up with the EIC to bring an Investor Day to EIC innovators working on solutions in the areas of Advanced computing & electronics, Quantum & Semiconductor technologies, and AI & Big data. 

 

What’s in it for EIC beneficiaries?  

EIC-funded companies will be selected by an exclusive investor jury from top European VCs & CVCs with notable investments in the deep tech sector. The selected companies will have the opportunity to pitch in front of these top European VCs & CVCs and meet them in private one-to-one meetings alongside more networking opportunities. 

 

The event is open to innovative approaches that focus on 1) Advanced computing & electronics, 2) Quantum & Semiconductor technologies, and 3) AI & Big data.  

 

What’s on the agenda?   

The EIC and EuroQuity-Bpifrance have set up a top-notch agenda for the event (Address: Bpifrance, 6-8 bd Haussmann, 75009 Paris, France). On the evening of 6 March 2023, a welcome dinner for EIC beneficiaries will take place.  

 

During the day of 7 March 2023, 3 thematic pitching sessions will occur in the morning/early afternoon where EIC-funded companies will present their innovative technologies and solutions with a focus on 1) Advanced computing & electronics, 2) Quantum & Semiconductor technologies, and 3) AI & Big data.  

 

 After these pitching sessions, investors will have the opportunity to meet the companies in private one-to-one meetings to dive a bit deeper with the company representatives.  

 

Important: Please do not book any travel before receiving confirmation that you have been selected for the event. 

 

When?  

7 March 2023, from 8:45 AM to 18:00 PM (CET).  

 

Who can apply?  

All EIC-funded companies looking for Seed to Series A fundraising and working on innovative solutions in matters related to 1) Advanced computing & electronics, 2) Quantum & Semiconductor technologies, and 3) AI & Big data.  

 

Selection process  

During the application process, you will need to fill in an application form. Afterwards, your company profile will be shared with our investor jury, and they will make the selection based on their investment preferences.

All participants are expected to fill out a brief satisfaction survey shortly after the event and a business impact survey after six months. Failure to do so may lead to exclusion from future Business Acceleration Services.
