A delegation of 15 EIC-backed companies is preparing to exhibit their innovations as part of the European Pavilion at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, scheduled to take place in Barcelona from 3 to 6 March 2025. The mission comes as part of the EIC International Trade Fairs Programme 3.0, an initiative of the EIC Business Acceleration Services providing a unique opportunity to these companies to connect with influential business partners on a global stage.
MWC 2025 is a leading international trade fair for the mobile communications and telecoms industry, attracting over 101,000 attendees from 205 countries in 2024. The latest edition featured more than 2,700 exhibitors and 1,100 speakers, with extensive media coverage by 2,600 journalists and over 35 million impressions on social media platforms.
The 15 selected EIC-backed companies for MWC Barcelona 2025, from sectors ranging from artificial intelligence and semiconductors to sustainable technologies, are:

The preparations began on 14 January with an online pre-departure workshop bringing together the 15 EIC-funded companies, EIC representatives, market experts, and MWC and 4YFN trade fair organisers. The workshop aimed to prepare the selected companies for their participation in MWC 2025 by providing detailed insights into trade fair opportunities and explaining the approach to onsite matchmaking services. In the run-up to the event, the selected EIC companies exhibiting at the European Pavilion will receive additional coaching services and participate in various matchmaking activities, including reverse pitch sessions and one-on-one meetings with potential investors and business partners.
