Fifteen innovative SMEs showcased their groundbreaking deeptech achievements at the global connectivity event MWC Barcelona & 4YFN 2024, thanks to the European Innovation Council (EIC) International Trade Fairs (ITF) Programme 3.0.
Their innovations – selected from among Europe’s most cutting-edge telecommunications advancements – were on show at the EIC Pavilion throughout the Mobile World Congress & 4YFN, from 26-29 February 2024. The pavilion, located on the 4YFN area, was designed to provide an immersive experience, offering visitors an exciting first-hand encounter with deeptech solutions in sectors ranging from telecommunications, robotics and automation, to blockchain, security, IoT, 3D and quantum technologies.
To mark the opening of the EIC Pavilion, Viorel Peca, Head of Unit EIC Transition at the EISMEA and Pere Duran, Director at 4YFN, co-hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony that gathered nearly 100 participants.
