CRANE project, which is dedicated to Pre-Commercial Procurement, is looking for data-driven services that can improve the wellbeing of patients with chronic conditions. CRANE - Pre-Commercial Procurement for data-driven services aimed at chronic patients
The CRANE project has launched a joint Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) Tender, amounting to €4,65M in three phases. The CRANE solution aims to make the citizens entire public and personal health data automatically accessible and to provide, through intelligent technologies, new, smart and tailored insight delivering to the citizens open and trustworthy control of their own data and its use.
CRANE is a collaboration between the public health care services of Agder Region, in Norway, Extremadura, in Spain, and Region Västerbotten, in Sweden. The project aims to empower citizens in their health-data access and management, from private as well as public sources, for their ultimate health benefit.
This procurement process will be implemented as a 3-phases competition where PCP contracts are assigned under the supervision of the buyers’ group:
- Phase 1: five bidders with a 50,000€ budget each for the development of a feasibility study.
- Phase 2: three selected proposals from Phase 1 will get 500,000€ each to develop a prototype.
- Phase 3: two suppliers from Phase 2 with 1,45M€ each for a Pilot Validation
