The European Innovation Council (EIC) is showcasing some of its best Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) companies at an ePitching session on 27 September, at 1 p.m CEST. Join this online event to connect with top EIC Accelerator innovators and explore new investment opportunities!

Are you an investor with a history of backing AI & ML solutions? If so, the EIC ePitching on AI & ML is your chance to get to know some of the top EIC Accelerators projects shaping the future of European tech. This is your opportunity to hear from a curated list of pitching companies, with the option of scheduling virtual one-on-one meetings after the session.

Who can join?

The EIC is looking for qualified investors with a history of backing innovative AI and ML solutions, such as Venture Capitalists, Corporate VCs, Family Offices, Angel Investors, etc. Don’t forget to sign up for the EIC Co-Investment Platform to make the most of the event and find exciting new opportunities.

 

 

Which companies will participate?

The final list of pitching companies will be selected by a panel of top-level jury members, including investors from Amadeus Capital Partners, BASF Venture Capital, Caixa Capital Risk, Capricorn Partners, Crowberry Capital, Cusp Capital, DN Capital, eCapital, Hightech-Gründerfonds, Inven Capital, Matterwave VC, NGP Capital, Octopus Ventures, Omnes Capital, Redalpine, Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH, SpeedinvestUVC Partners and No Such Ventures.

Kahun

Kahun's clinical reasoning engine utilizes a proprietary knowledge graph of over 30 million evidence-based medical insights to clinically ground generative-AI output, enabling it for clinical use.

They are on a Seed funding round, raising $10 million.

 

Seqana

Seqana is a Berlin climate & ag-tech startup. They combine spatial statistics, ML, and satellite imagery to MRV (monitor, report, and verify) the planet's SDG metrics. Their first service bolsters the role of regenerative agriculture in the carbon removals markets by cost-efficiently quantifying soil carbon and its change.

They are on a Seed funding round, raising €3 million.

 

Multiverse Computing

Multiverse Computing is one of the 100 most promising AI companies in 2023 according to CB Insights. They produce extremely advanced AI tools based on quantum and non-quantum techniques to accelerate the training of AI systems between 100 and 1,000 times. Blue chip customers in Energy, Finance, Manufacturing, Space, Defence, Life and more are using their solutions. Multiverse is the largest company in the EU providing these tools, and one of the two largest worldwide alongside Sandbox AQ (the spinoff from Google).

They are on a Series A funding round, raising €5 million.

 

Voiseed

Voiseed is creating a new generative AI technology to enrich creator content with endless voices, a full range of expressions in any language. Their patent-pending tech based on proprietary generative AI deep learning algorithms provides a unique solution to produce and dub expressive voice content with the primary aim to voice the unvoiced.

They are on a Series A funding round, raising €5 million.

 

Skyfora

Skyfora is a Finnish company established in 2019. The company provides solutions to weather affected industries and governments in exposed geographical regions to better adapt to the consequences of climate change. Improved weather forecasts are achieved by developing new methods to obtain unprecedented amounts of atmospheric measurements, and by using latest AI and machine learning technologies.

They are on a Series A funding round, raising €5 million.

 

Innatera Nanosystems

Innatera develops ultra-low power intelligence for sensors. A spin-off from the Delft University of Technology, it develops AI processors that mimic the brain's mechanisms for sensory perception. With a radically new computing architecture, Innatera's chips allow sensor data to be processed 100x faster and with upto 500x lesser energy than conventional processors.

They are on a Series A funding round, raising €15 million.

 

Biosimulytics Limited

BioSimulytics is developing a quantum physics-based, AI/ML-powered pharmatech platform dedicated to improving the speed, scale, novelty and success rate of new drug development.

They are on a Seed funding round, raising €6 million.

 

About the EIC Ecosystem Partnerships and Co-Investment Support Programme

The Ecosystem Partnerships and Co-Investment Support Programme is expanding the EIC’s Business Acceleration Services (BAS) by creating a network of specialized, sector-focused partners that can help innovators access the services they need. It is also dedicated to promoting co-investment along with the EIC Fund, by preparing beneficiaries to interact with investors and connecting them through matchmaking and dedicated events.
