All EIC SME Instrument companies are invited to showcase their innovations to chemical giant Solvay. The networking event will take place on 16 October in Brussels, Belgium.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot, is supporting high-potential small and medium-sized enterprises to collaborate with larger corporates on the development of new business models and scalable technologies with the potential to bring radical change to the chemical sector. The networking event will take place on 16 October in Brussels, Belgium.
Small companies funded by the SME Instrument, Fast Track to Innovation and FET-Open are welcome to apply for a networking and knowledge sharing event with leading chemical company Solvay. The event will take place in Solvay’s head office in Neder-Over-Heembeek, Brussels, Belgium, and is open to all innovative approaches to:
· Additive manufacturing (3D printing) of polymers;
· Nanocomposites and polymer-based lightweight materials;
· Composites & polymers: Part Prototyping, Virtual Engineering, Advanced Mechanical Testing;
· Smart/functional polymeric materials (e.g. self-healing, electroactive, etc.).
Prepare yourself to make a brief presentation about your company, followed by a short question and answer session. Following the presentations, participants will have the opportunity to get a deeper insight into the current challenges and the research done by Solvay and its partners.
