Nowadays, being up-to-speed on all things tech-related is as important as ever. As the world relies heavily on technology, the digital transformation that ended up affecting pretty much all life areas makes it pivotal to protecting systems connected to the internet from potential cyberspace threats. That’s where cybersecurity comes in.

It’s always tricky to secure cyberspace when it comes to several factors: software attacks, theft of intellectual property, identity theft, theft of equipment or information, sabotage, or information extortion. Therefore, putting cybersecurity to good use means using technologies, processes, and controls to protect systems, companies, and people from unwanted – and unauthorised – accesses.

From malware to crypto-jacking attacks, cybersecurity is the safe way of minimising one’s exposure to potential cybercrimes and protecting people from these vulnerabilities. That’s why this EIC ePitching with Investors is a valuable opportunity for selected EIC beneficiaries to pitch their innovations in front of jury members from top-class European investors in the Cybersecurity field, to help further develop this sector.
