The EIC Innovation Procurement Programme powered by SPIN4EIC aims to support EIC Beneficiaries by providing opportunities and free procurement assistance for public and private tenders across Europe and beyond. Through the organisation of a series of targeted pitching events, EIC innovators can present their solutions and foster connections with buyers. These events are designed to help deep-tech innovators present their solutions directly to relevant industry stakeholders, opening doors to strategic partnerships, pilot projects, and procurement opportunities.
A clear example of the impact of this approach is the connection between AI4MedImaging, an EIC Awardee, and Rimed – Unilabs, a Swiss diagnostic services provider, during one of these curated events. They had the opportunity to meet during the EIC pitching session held on 26 March 2025 at Healthcare Business International (HBI) in Paris, where they could showcase their groundbreaking AI solutions for medical imaging to an audience of leading industry buyers and stakeholders.

Outcomes for AI4MedImaging
The pitching event led to a direct connection between AI4MedImaging and Rimed – Unilabs and to the start of an ongoing collaboration.
SPIN4EIC supported the collaboration by organising a dedicated pitching event designed to connect EIC awardees with influential stakeholders in the field of medical imaging. This created a unique platform for EIC awardees to showcase their innovative solutions and to spark dialogue and collaborations.
Prior to the event, the team provided tailored pitching training to the participating EIC awardees such as AI4MedImaging. The training sessions were aimed at helping the teams sharpen their messaging, refine their delivery, and ensure their presentations were impactful and well-aligned with the expectations of the event’s audience.
