ENGIE Vianeo is looking for innovative green mobility companies tackling booking, accessibility, and energy management for HGVs and LCVs. EIC beneficiaries are invited to seize this opportunity by applying through the official call by 7th February.
Apply to the call here by 7th February.
About the call:
ENGIE Vianeo is looking for EIC beneficiaries with business applications for recharging electric heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) that will simultaneously offer:
- Online booking of charging slots and remote control of connected devices: access barriers, charging points, cameras for reading number plates, etc. It must allow our haulage customers to book and receive guaranteed access to an available charging space.
- Energy management of our charging infrastructure, such as managing charging and triggering charging during attractive time periods (overnight charging, semi-public stations, etc.).
Some market solutions are not very adaptable or require fairly significant infrastructure. As vehicle recharging is constantly evolving, this call for tenders should enable us to find start-ups or companies capable of developing appropriate solutions in a challenging market context.
Aim of the call for projects:
ENGIE Vianeo is looking to identify a full web application for booking time slots that can send simple orders to connected equipment, via a modem or other communication medium.
The terminals must have connectivity and energy management features for greater flexibility of the overall infrastructure. The application must be able to forecast the power levels required based on bookings and recharging sessions so energy management and efficiency can be optimised.
These applications must be capable of:
- Booking a time slot on a track
- Sending information to stakeholders (ENGIE, fleet manager, driver, etc.)
- Retrieving the information and translating it for the connected equipment
- Collecting charging infrastructure data
- Recovering any feedback from other connected equipment
- Viewing feedback
- Remotely controlling connected equipment (barriers, bollards, etc.)
- Interfacing with other existing applications (mandatory)
They must also include:
- Collaborative construction
- Integration of business constraints
- Deployment on a pilot site (depending on the relevance of the solutions identified)
Advantages and benefits for selected projects:
- Co-development of a customised connected industrial application with ENGIE Vianeo.
- The opportunity to test one or more prototypes at HGV charging stations in ENGIE Vianeo France’s network.
- Potential Europe-wide deployment on the ENGIE Vianeo network.
- Contact with ENGIE Vianeo experts and an opportunity to propose other applications for the business.
Evaluation criterion:
- The solution’s relevance to the call for tenders
- Economic feasibility/viability & Value for money
- Development potential
- Ability to launch the project quickly & Ease of installation
