From 11 - 14 November 2024, 18 EIC-backed companies showcased their MedTech innovations at MEDICA 2024, in Düsseldorf, Germany. As the world’s leading B2B healthcare trade fair, MEDICA brought together key leaders from the healthcare industry, offering the EIC cohort a great platform for business opportunities.
This edition of MEDICA gathered over 5,000 exhibitors from 72 countries and attracted 80,000 visitors.
As part of the EIC Business Acceleration Services, 18 EIC companies were selected to exhibit at MEDICA 2024. 15 of these companies were participating with the EIC International Trade Fairs Programme 3.0, while 3 were supported by the EIC Tech to Market Entrepreneurship and Venture Building Programme (T2M).
To ensure they were well-prepared for their participation, the 18 EIC companies, featuring technologies ranging from diagnostics, digital health, ophthalmology, cancer research and more, benefited from training, coaching, and matchmaking services provided by the EIC International Trade Fairs Programme 3.0.
This marks the second time the EIC Pavilion has been present at MEDICA in Düsseldorf. Through pre-arranged meetings, presentations and interactive sessions at the EIC Pavilion stage, and an intervention from the EIC within the official conference programme, the cohort had the chance to have direct engagement with potential investors and business partners.
