EIC to bring the best deep tech pioneers at GITEX 2023

On 28 June 2023, the European Innovation Council (EIC) successfully organised a virtual preparatory workshop for the delegation of EIC companies to showcase extraordinary innovations at GITEX 2023, the final trade fair under EIC Overseas Trade Fairs (OTF) Programme 2.0. The most anticipated technology event in Gulf region will be taking place from 16 to 20 October 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

 

At GITEX 2023, the delegation of the European Pavilion will have the opportunity to present extraordinary innovations, network and create strategic business partnerships with global counterparts. 

With 6 themes under one roof, conference programmes with 1000+ expert speakers, 5000+ exhibitors and more than 200 government entities from 170 countries, GITEX is the most influential meeting place for the technology industry, providing a strong business platform for tech giants, creative start-ups and enterprises.

The purpose of the preparatory workshop was to fully support some of the best deep tech EIC-funded SMEs, start-ups and scale-ups prior to their participation in the tradeshow.

The Assistant Vice President, Commercial at Dubai World Trade Centre, Ayman Hassan, informed the EIC delegation on the unlimited networking and partnering opportunities of the leading tradeshow, offering a sneak-peek before the official kick-off of GITEX.

In addition, the previously selected participant in OTF Programme 2.0, Thomas Farnoux, Business Partnerships Manager at Actronika, shared his valuable experience from the trade fairs, providing helpful tips for an outstanding preparation.
