The Three finalists announcement of the European Social Innovation Competition 2024!
The European Commission has announced the finalists of the 2024 European Social Innovation Competition, focused on "Digital Democracy."
These finalists are addressing critical challenges, including fighting disinformation, enhancing democratic participation, and empowering grassroots communities.
The selected projects include:
- “Cultivating Civic Habits” by Sabiedribas Lidzdalibas Fonds (Latvia): An app designed to foster civic competence among youth.
- “Live Agora” by Stichting TAAT (Netherlands): A decentralized digital platform promoting community collaboration.
- “The Newsroom” by Título Alternativo LDA (Portugal): A tool to combat disinformation and strengthen democratic engagement.
The winner will be announced on March 11, 2025, at the European Social Innovation Forum Annual Event in Brussels.
