The Challenge
The challenge focuses on advancing cellulose-based packaging technologies that meet the stringent demands of healthcare and wellness products. It aims to explore:

Innovative barrier coatings and laminates that are recyclable or compostable

High-performance cellulose-based films, composites, and additives

Solutions that offer strong moisture and oxygen barrier properties

Packaging that aligns with global recyclability goals and carbon reduction targets
The ultimate goal is to develop cellulose-based packaging with high barrier performance, strong regulatory compliance, and a reduced environmental footprint.
Reward
Successful applicants can receive a 6-month funded project, ranging from $25,000 to $100,000, including access to Haleon’s technical experts and the potential for ongoing collaboration and partnership development.
