We invite representatives from regional bodies, enterprise support networks, universities, and prospective European Innovation Council (EIC) applicants to our online event EIC Pathways to Success. The event will provide key insights and case study presentations from research commercialisation experts as well as insights and tips from EIC grantees. We will look at the key EIC requirements and characteristics of successful proposals. 

Acceler8 Venture Builder is an EIC partner and the organiser of the event, hosted in partnership with the EU funded RInnoValleys project. The company is a strategic R&D actor aiming to establish joint ventures to support the journey of disruptive innovations out of the laboratory, across the valley of death, and into markets.

The speakers will include: 

- Dr. Stephanie Bezzina Wettinger - EIC Pathfinder Cardiogenomics Challenge grantee for the project TargetMI: A Multi-Omics Approach for Novel Drug Targets, Biomarkers, and Risk Algorithms for Myocardial Infarction.

- Antti Heikkila - CEO Acceler8 Venture Builder a strategic R&D actor and business champion that specialises in commercialising research-based innovations, with focus on technologies born and developed in European Research Council (ERC), EIC and European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) funded research.

- Jon Goriup - Co-Founder & CEO VCG.AI

RInnoValleys is a Horizon Europe funded project involving innovation stakeholders from Greece, Catalonia-Spain, Malta, Hungary, Belgium and Ireland aiming to connect DeepTech startups with the European innovation ecosystem. RinnoValleys is set to address disparities and challenges faced by EU regions in supporting deep tech startups and accessing the EIC.
