The European Innovation Council (EIC) is partnering up with BME for  the 8th CEE Procurement & Supply Forum focused on automotive, machinery, plant engineering sectors as well as electronics, taking place in Prague, Czech Republic, on 9 November 2022. Through this initiative, five EIC beneficiaries will be invited for free to engage with dozens of procurement professionals at the highest level and be part of discussions regarding how buyers should tackle sourcing in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and what suppliers can learn from that, with effective B2B matchmaking opportunities.

As a way of bringing together buyers and qualified suppliers from the CEE region, BME is holding the 8th edition of the CEE Procurement & Supply Forum that’s taking place in Prague on 9 November 2022. Like previous editions, the intention is to focus on supporting SMEs to engage with procurement processes. It combines highly informative lectures and discussions with extensive networking opportunities and individual B2B meetings with key suppliers.

5 EIC beneficiaries will have the possibility to pitch in front of the audience and will have also B2B meetings organised.
 
With a commodity focus on automotive, machinery and plant engineering sectors as well as electronics, the format of the event will include conference information on current CEE challenges and topics, B2B for buyers and suppliers. The five selected EIC-funded beneficiaries will also have the privileged chance to present their solutions. Not to mention, increased visibility and possible access to new markets.

 

What’s in store for you? 

During the conference part of the CEE Procurement & Supply Forum, you will have the opportunity to listen (first-hand) to renowned procurement experts from the region that will present and discuss the current developments and hot topics in Eastern Europe. B2B matching and networking opportunities with potential business partners that fit your individual needs are also possible. Through these, you will be able to conduct important discussions with potential business  partners that fit your needs during dedicated pre-scheduled meetings where you will receive a meeting plan and know exactly which company you are going to talk to.

  • OEM Tier 1 manufacturers of truck, trailer, and tractor components (e.g., fifth wheel couplings, landing gears, front loader, and equipment)

  • Fire Fighting Industry

The EIC-funded companies will be selected according to BME’s needs for innovative solutions related to the presented subjects.

The Business Acceleration Services provided are free of charge. All participants are expected to fill out a short satisfaction survey shortly after the event, and a business impact survey after six months. Failure to do so may lead to exclusion from future Business Acceleration Services.
