The winds of change were acknowledged during the EIC’s launching event of the Women Leadership Programme on October 7, now it’s time to continue overcoming gender barriers and encourage female power. To do so, we invite you – one of the 50 selected participants of the programme – to join our dedicated training and networking sessions. These events will enhance the participants’ business skills and promote their networking beyond the EIC Community. By joining our events, you will follow a leadership development journey that will start with fundamental entrepreneurial skills, followed by more specific support in business matters. 'How Early-Stage Fundraising will Help you Master your Decision-Making and Negotiation Skills’

As soon as you get your startup off the ground, you start looking for that flight safety: the much-desired capital that will take you to new levels, markets, and customers. Independently of your stage, goals, and evaluation, you will always need a fundraising strategy, and a powerful position to put you in front of the right people. On 10 November, our EIC WLP Training session in partnership with EBAN will help you master your decision-making and negotiation skills.

 

For over 20 years EBAN has been driving successful and responsible angel investing in Europe by supporting not only angel investors but also entrepreneurs and startup founders to create and market their amazing solutions. As Vice President of EBAN Startup-Grande-Dame, Selma Prodanovic is among the most influential women in early stage investing in Europe. On her mission to empowering women, she will share her experience in the startup world, and will outline the fundraising process as a perfect case study to improving negotiation and decision-making skills in all walks of life. 

 

Food-for-thought questions will be sent in advance as preparation for the masterclass. All attendees are expected to actively participate in the session and share their failures and successes.

The EIC Women Leadership Programme participants have to join at least 75% of these events. These events are important steps that will mark your participation in the EIC Women Leadership Programme, so you should really strive to be present.
