The winds of change were acknowledged during the EIC’s launching event of the Women Leadership Programme on October 7, now it’s time to continue overcoming gender barriers and encourage female power. To do so, we invite you – one of the 50 selected participants of the programme – to join our dedicated training and networking sessions. These events will enhance the participants’ business skills and promote their networking beyond the EIC Community. Training and Networking session #3 with WLOUNGE: 29 November, from 9h30 to 13h00

Become a master of creative pitching and tell your story in front of a jury of investors

To raise an investment round, sell a new product or even hire new employees, you will always have to pitch. And we know that preparing and presenting a pitch can be a bit intimidating! That’s why we want to provide you with the EIC Women Leadership Programme’s Training #3 on “Creative Pitching”. During this session, you will learn about innovative pitching strategies and structures, acquire winning skills to develop your best speech and  leave better prepared to attract investors to your company. 
 
But there is more! In the second half of the session, you will have the chance to practice the tips and tricks you learned during the training. We will give you the unique opportunity to pitch your product and solution to a group of high-level investors from the WLOUNGE network.

How can I apply for the pitching competition?

The call for the pitching competition will be open to all the participants who have registered for the Training + Networking event one week before it takes place. The applications for the pitching competition will have a first-come, first-served basis – only the first 10 participants to express their interest will have the opportunity to pitch. 

The selected applicants will have to present a 3 min pitch about their company following the strategies and tips provided during the Training. The remaining participants will also support and share their knowledge during this exercise. After 30 minutes of preparation, the pitching will take place in the plenary session in front of investors.

The EIC Women Leadership Programme participants have to join at least 75% of these events. These events are important steps that will mark your participation in the EIC Women Leadership Programme, so you should really strive to be present. If your participation is not possible, please inform the organisation team as soon as you can.
