Since being awarded the H2020-SME instrument phase 2 grant in 2014, eVision has taken a structured approach to developing, testing, piloting, improving and implementing the various technological innovations required to create its Cumulative Dynamic Barrier Risk system.

As the solution relies on data from various integrations, eVision has brought these live with clients frequently in the past 2 years. In 2017 the company signed with Exxon for the deployment of their system.

This fast growth implies for eVision: 5000 client sites live, 230 Global employees and 6 Global offices.

The SME Instrument grant has allowed us to uniquely and fully utilize the capacity and talent we need to develop this Predictive Risk innovation, in parallel with our core mission of creating Control of Work solutions which make hazardous industries safer and more productive. It has been, and still is, a journey, but the implementation of eVision’s Cumulative Dynamic Barrier Risk solution is a major step towards true Predictive risk.”, Neil Currie, eVision Co-founder.

With more than 2.3 million people worldwide dying every year as a result of work-related accidents, industries have a real challenge in reducing risks in hazardous work environments. eVision monitors large industrial installations to make sure risks are under control and employees know when and how to react. EVision is on Deloitte's list of 500 fastest growing companies and has signed big contracts with global industrial leaders, like Exxon and Statoil. Here's how the SME Instrument helped them get their ideas on the market.

Workers in large industrial installations in particular are vulnerable to fatal accidents like fires and exposure to hazardous substances. Until now the focus has been on preventing accidents through procedures and safety regulations but thanks to eVision this approach might take a radical turn.
