The European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot's funded company TG0 won the "New materials" pitching session and the public vote of the event for Best Pitch at the EIC Innovators' Summit in Berlin in September. The event gathered over 850 top SMEs, investors, corporate representatives, researchers and influencers to network and exchange knowledge in Berlin.

With this distinction the company won a customised professional video pitch made by VidPitch (see video below) and a direct access to the European Venture Contest (EVC) organised by TechTour in Dusseldorf on 10-11 of December.

Ming Kong, TG0 CEO, has invented a new sensing method using a soft, hyper-sensitive material that can sense a greater range of touch motions than traditional electronic devices. It can also be moulded out of one material into a 3D shape rather than assembled in parts. The company aims at making controls more intuitive. Touchscreens and buttons require you to move a virtual object in 3D space with 2D controls, TG0 enables users to physically perform the desired on-screen movement on a flexible, soft 3D object.

At the EIC Innovators’ Summit, Ming talked to us about what’s next for TG0.
