Events: Looking for green investments? Discover the e-pitching on renewable energy
A new e-pitching session organised by the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot's Accelerator will be taking place from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm CTE, on 31 October. The event will be focused on renewable energy and will allow SME’s to virtually pitch their business ideas to key investors. This session will gather as investors EDP Ventures, Finindus, Danfoss, Demeter and Iberdola.
The companies virtually attending have been selected by the investors within the EIC ScaleUp EU tool on the EIC platform and, although this session is now closed as a member of the EIC Community you will also be able to follow the session in remotely to see the potential of the online event and apply to future versions of your interest. Investing in sustainable opportunities
A variety of innovations have come to the fore in recent years and can potentially revolutionize the world’s energy technology. Along with that, there has been an upsurge in consumer and investor interest in the renewable industry. Here are the six EIC funded companies that will pitch innovative ideas and share their renewable energy usage.
Lightyear – The car company founded by a group of former University of Eindhoven students has unveiled the first prototype of the Lightyear One: an electric vehicle covered in solar panels that it plans to start delivering to consumers in 2021.
Wind Inertia Technologies - HESS – Based in Spain, HESS retains Win Inertia as its flagship commercial brand due to its recognition for developing hybrid energy storage systems and energy management solutions for utility scale.
Solight – The company founded in Israel has developed an innovative static solar lighting system, enabling efficient and constant harvesting of solar light from 08:00 AM till 04:00 PM.
Hakom – With an outstanding time series technology for the energy sector, the company from Germany can bring AI and Machine Learning capabilities to the energy market while exploring new opportunities in the industrial IoT space.
Lancey Energy Storage - By integrating a battery into a highly efficient electric heater, Lancey democratizes decentralized energy storage. Based in Copenhagen, Lancey’s unique and patented solution enables a significant energy bill reduction and make the most out of renewable energy while providing ancillary services to the grid.
Greenvolt - Greenvolt is freeing the battery up by embedding it into the devices it powers. The company from Iceland defends the future is about creating products with “energy inside” and Nanosize + carbon give that flexibility.
